Good Questions, Honest Answers

Everything Billings neighbors usually want to know before their first visit — and if we missed one, just call.

What areas around Billings do you serve?

We're based in Billings (59101) and cover roughly 20 miles in every direction. That includes the whole city: Downtown, the South Side, the North Elevation, Central-Terry Park, Midtown, the West End, the neighborhoods along the Rims and all of Billings Heights. Outside the city limits we regularly work in Lockwood, Laurel, Shepherd, Huntley and Blue Creek. If you live just past that line, call anyway; for a longer list we can usually make the drive.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes. Most jobs can be priced firmly from a few photos and a quick phone conversation. Larger projects, or ones where we can't tell what's behind the wall yet, get a free in-person look first. Either way you'll have a clear number before anything goes on the calendar.

Do you charge by the hour or by the job?

Whenever we can, we price by the job so you know the total ahead of time. For open-ended punch-list visits we agree on a rate and an outline of the work together, so the bill matches what you expected. If the work goes faster than planned, you pay less.

Are your pros licensed and insured?

Yes. The work is done by insured local pros who hold the licenses and registrations required in Montana for the job at hand, so electrical and plumbing connections are handled by licensed tradespeople. Ask us anything before we start.

What kinds of jobs do you handle?

Everyday repair and upkeep around the house: drywall and plaster patching, door adjustment, TV and shelf mounting, furniture assembly, ceiling fans and light fixtures, dimmers and smart switches, faucet, toilet and disposal repairs, fence and gate work, gutter cleaning and repair, pressure washing, paint touch-ups, garage storage, smart home devices and seasonal maintenance. Put everything on one list, even the small items, and we'll plan a single visit around it.

Can you help after a hailstorm?

We can take care of a lot of the smaller hail and wind damage that roofers and siding crews don't handle: dented or split gutters and downspouts, torn window screens, cracked light covers, damaged fence boards and gates, and cleanup of shredded leaves packed into gutters. If your roof or siding needs an insurance claim, we're glad to document what we see with photos so you have them for your adjuster.

Can you get my house ready for a Billings winter?

That's one of our most useful visits. In September or October we clean gutters and check that downspouts drain away from the foundation, disconnect and protect hose bibs, seal gaps around doors and windows where wind drives snow in, check weatherstripping on the garage door, and swap furnace filters and smoke alarm batteries while we're there. It is far easier than finding the frozen spigot in January.

Can I just text you a photo of the problem?

Please do. One close-up and one wider shot, plus a sentence about what's going on, is usually enough for us to understand the job and often to give a firm price. It also means we bring the right parts on the first trip instead of running back to the store on King Avenue.

One quick call or text gets you a real price and a real arrival time — usually within the week.
